MS Office 2007 SP2 Black Edition v2.0 is an ongoing project to make Office 2007 more compatible and easier to use. It supports almost every office document format including Open Office and Google Docs formats.
This release jumps to version 2, due to the UAC elevation that I’ve kicked around for months. Vista and 7 users can now install from any account and from any UAC level. You will only be asked once to allow ob_install.exe to run; the rest of the script executes perfectly even with UAC on full blast. Post SP2 updates were removed; they took to damn long to install and I wanted to keep the package at ~700 MB. The classic menu not registered bug is also fixed now, sorry to everyone that d/led 1.7.

Add-ins are installed after office, please give it a few minutes to install them.
Add-ins will download some files (hotfixes for OS platforms, .Net updates if needed).
If prompted to reboot, choose “No” and wait 2 minutes, then reboot.

Changelog for v2.0:
- All UAC issues solved, this can be run with UAC on now.
- Post SP2 updates removed; took to long to install.
- Fixed Classic Menus not registered bug from 1.7.

avast! provides a package of applications that aim to protect your computer from a possible virus infection or other malware threat. If you use it correctly, and in combination with other programs such as data backup utilities, it will significantly reduce the risk of your computer being attacked or infected by a virus, and thus the risk of losing important or private data.
The Avast! Internet Security application comes with an antispam filter and built-in firewall. Active internet users need greater protection for themselves as they shop and bank on-line. Real-time shields. The real-time shields are the most important part of the program, as they are working continuously to prevent your computer from becoming infected. Virus Chest. The virus chest can be thought of as a folder on your hard disk with special properties, that make it a safe, isolated place for storing potentially harmful files. You can work with the files in the virus chest, with some security restrictions.

avast! antispam filter. avast! Internet Security includes a fully integrated antispam filter to detect unwanted email.
Spam delivered to your mailbox can result in your mailbox quickly becoming full, as a result which, legitimate emails may not be received. It can also unnecessarily increase the load on the email server, internet connection, local networks etc.

Firewall. avast! Internet Security includes a fully integrated firewall which can be controlled directly from the avast! user interface.

The Avira Security Suite was designed to protect you and has an extra FireWall as well as an AntiSpam and a backup function in addition to the award-winning virus protection.In a user-defined installation or a modification installation, the following installation modules can be selected, added or removed.

Premium Security Suite
This module contains all components required for successful installation of Avira Premium Security Suite.

AntiVir Guard
The AntiVir Guard runs in the background. It monitors and repairs, where necessary, files during operations such as open, write and copy in on-access mode. Whenever a user carries out a file operation (e.g. load document, execute, copy), Avira Premium Security Suite automatically scans the file. Renaming a file does not trigger a scan by AntiVir Guard.

AntiVir MailGuard
MailGuard is the interface between your computer and the email server from which your email program (mail client) downloads the emails. MailGuard is connected as a so-called proxy between the email program and the email server. All incoming emails are routed through this proxy, scanned for viruses and unwanted programs and forwarded to your email program. Depending on the configuration, the program processes the affected emails automatically or asks the user for a certain action. In addition, the MailGuard can reliably protect you against spam emails.

AntiVir WebGuard
When surfing the internet, you are using your web browser to request data from a web server. The data transferred from the web server (HTML files, script and image files, Flash files, video and music streams, etc) will normally be moved directly into the browser cache for display in the web browser, meaning that an on-access scan as performed by AntiVir Guard is not possible. This could allow viruses and unwanted programs to access your computer system. WebGuard is what is known as an HTTP proxy which monitors the ports used for data transfer (80, 8080, 3128) and scans the transferred data for viruses and unwanted programs. Depending on the configuration, the program may process the affected files automatically or prompt the user for a specific action.

Avira Firewall
Avira Firewall controls communication to and from your computer. It permits or denies communications based on security policies.

Rootkit Detection
The Rootkit Detection checks whether software is already installed on your computer that can no longer be detected with conventional methods of malware protection after penetrating the computer system.

Shell Extension
The Avira Premium Security Suite Shell Extension generates an entry Scan selected files with AntiVir in the context menu of the Windows Explorer (right-hand mouse button). With this entry you can directly scan files or directories.

Backup
The Backup component lets you create mirror backups of your data manually and automatically.
